Psalm 139:13-14
For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother's womb. I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.
David is not describing a general truth about humanity from a safe distance. He is describing himself — his own reins, his own frame, covered and formed by God before anyone else had ever laid eyes on him. The candle of the Lord was struck long before David could reason about it, argue with it, or take credit for it.
Your soul knows this right well too, if you will let it speak. Somewhere beneath the noise of daily life is a quiet certainty that you were not an accident, that the hand that formed you in secret is still paying attention to you in the open. That is not sentiment. That is theology, and David built his praise squarely on it.
Let your soul say what it already knows: you were made on purpose, by hands that don't make mistakes.
